Hey polycount. I wanted to create a few hand painted assets. I'm going to use this thread to post my work, and explore a few different techniques and tools I could use. Feel free to comment or even post something of your own if you want. My first piece is going to be this axe. I painted the concept myself.
My good friend Jeremy Baldwin and I created some FPS hands and got them into UDK. I did the modeling, sculpting and textures and Jeremy did the lighting and shader development. Can't wait to see where these arms end up *wink wink*
Hi, here is my latest project done for the class of Ancelmo Toledo, was really good to try something different with a hand painted style, thanks to Ancelmo and all my friends who help me with this project. Concept by Woo Kyungzin I hope you guys like it. Crits and comments welcomed : )…
If you just do a search on the forum here ('hand painted', 'hand painting tutorials', 'texture tutorials', etc.) you should probably come up with some good stuff!
This is officially my first finished hand painted texture. I'm looking for any kind of feedback or critiques you can give me. I want to improve! :) For those that are curious I followed the workflow of the grass tutorial by Jeff Parrott. http://vimeo.com/38844355 Thanks.
Hello! So after buying a new Wacom Intuos 5M and giving my old Bamboo One to a friend I've done a hand painted texture attempt. After being like 6 months without practicing I think the result is not bad. The Intuos worths every € it costs. Please, give me feedback and critique. (I apologize for my mistakes at english :) )
