I like what XYZ suggested. I think a good way to make it creative would be to do what BRINK did with the paint jobs on the weapons, but with your own design. Really nice looking model too.
Hey a tips that i took from DICE when it comes to the shooting mechanism. place a wall close to the weapon and shoot. See what kind of impact it gives. And make changes. Art wise its looking ogood.
Some 3D Printing Tips and Flips.. err Tricks! This tutorial will cover some common problem areas with 3D printing. Let's print some weapons! ☆ヘ(○ゝз・)ノ┌┛ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOi8pW4I1HU
Much respect for sharing your secret weapon, that makes you cooler than Chris Mullins (back in the day he took his tutorials down because he was worried about people stealing his style)
I was bored so I decided to do her weapon before finishing her. I never did a gun before, so it's a nice way to start :) Still not finished, and I know, it needs a lot of tweaks.
Flag finished, hopefully I'll have time to make a weapon before the contest is over, still have to do masks and promo images. That's also assuming the importer glitch is fixed and I can submit at all D:
Awsome character design with a strong silhouette! I especially like the weapon and it's glowing feature and how you tied that into the glowing features in the character. Keep up the good work and post some more stuff while your at it!
Bolt and barrel progress (also lengthened the mag neck, its 23rnds now, ill probably drop the bottom a bit for a more clean 25) and blocking in bigger things differentiating this from extant weapons will be the fun part
Hahah, @JacqueChoi yes they are actual Villains. @Orgoth02 from my old website, I just had a 1024 of it next to my weapon to show off my Diffuse... but I didn't watermark it so.. they just napped it.
Definitely agree! The original artist has a whole set of these weapons and i plan on doing every one of them, I could definitely run a spec map through with the next one along with some hyped colors
