[ QUOTE ] ....it looks like you found a pic of a woman spreading it open, with a coke bottle inserted. ...its like a creepy seamonster mouth, i just want to toss smelt into it untill it gets full and swims away, leaving me alone on the cracked off piece of iceberg floating in the ocean waiting for a passing helicopter to…
We had a thread about this earlier in the month here. To sum it up, a good 15' laptop for 3d sculpting and newer game engines (such as Unreal3) Would have a Geforce 8600, 2+ gb ram (3+ if running Vista), and a dual core processor. For a 17' you can go as High as Geforce 8800, though In late August the mobile 9800 is…
[ QUOTE ] looks != fun. you guys are chodes. [/ QUOTE ] Every retard that says this seems to forget that shity graphics doesnt equal fun games, most games that come out and look like shit, also play like shit. Nice furniture renders dude :) I can see a bunch of areas where you could improve, but honestly just keep making more art and pushing yourself, you'll end up improving a ton. I'd say remove the Space Marine and the Scifi room. The texturing on the Streets of Amsterdam isn't really up to par, but I'd honestly just move…
Hi. I want to show some things I've been working on while I learn UE4 and also expose some thoughts on the workflow I gathered in the process. Maybe this can be helpful for people thinking of doing something similar. I originally posted this on reddit, but it seems much more appropriate here due to the post format. Also…
hmm, only thing i can think of is to re-make the brush, but be sure to start from the "Layer" brush instead of Standard or Clay. There's probably some brush behaviors hard coded into the different brush types. Hope that helps!
Thank you very much dude ! that's a great shout, I'll scour the net to see if I find anything similar. If not, Blender will probably have a plugin like this, just need to bite the bullet and finally learn the key bindings for it haha I tried something similar with Maya's Duplicate Special which instances your meshes, but…
So a while back, the group I work with was going to switch to Modo, and the transition was mostly painless because you immediately were granted with a UI that asked what you wanted for camera controls and selection modes, as well as a few other things. We're using Max again, and now we're looking into Blender with 2.8…
I'm asking this question for curiosity, does anyone use Houdini as their main software instead of something else like Maya, Blender etc. ? And what is your opinion about it ? I'm especially interested in the modeling aspect of it and to hear your opinion about the new direct modeling tools ( the radial menu stuff ) and…
