:D Yeah, I can totally understand that. It took me a while to get used to this cut for the pants, but I wanted to see if I can get Demobaza's crazy patterns done in MD and make them work out for a character :smile: In any case I really appreciate the kind words :) -
Re: LOD resources/information anyone?
I tend to try and make sure there is a "as low as i'm going to go" version at the same time of the high LOD bake so that what cant be poly reduced down to what i want as a low can just be added to the UVs of the high LOD. That way i have both parts in the texture. -

Yeah im using max. Ok im not really following a tutorial or anything, im just having trouble cutting holes in a mesh without booleans and that arnt circular. Like for example, i wanted to make an arch in a wall as a sort of closed window, but didnt know how to do this except for booleans. -

If you want a game ready mesh you could bake the textures in zB, but if you have access to substance I cant see why you would. I dont see what mesh projection adds to the process. You would only use projection after a remesh to help with the sculpting process. -

Game just looks fantastic. The movement system looks great and I cant wait to get to try it. Keep seeing ads all over other gaming websites and it just makes me want the game more and sad that its not coming out till spring 2011, thats too far away! -

The art in overwatch is fantastic, and there's a wide variety of characters of both genders. I just cant help but shake my head at some ppl looking to get offended at something if not everything. -

If memory serves in the U.S. if you want to teach full time in a college or university with State Accreditation (That's the good one) then you will need an MA/MFA. Its not really about your qualifications skills or experience, its about the paper unfortunately. That's not to say that you cant teach, but it may not be a… -

That sounds like the same horror story I have been hearing?:poly122: For the last 3 months the 560 replacement was supposed to be released first in the $3xx dollar price range. And were touted with the same performance numbers we are seeing with the 680. If true, such a flash of contemptous greed makes me want to puke. -

been watching this thread silently and too much awesomeness in your thread! as an env. artist i cant judge your skills(which is pretty awesome) but i can say your characters have a character Nizza :) ! these characters have really unique looking and makes me want to see them in motion.
