I think you've got a nice model here, but once again, it's really lacking from a big picture perspective.. I think this could be a great object though, very quickly -- so don't get discouraged!! honestly, when i look at the image, it's a total chaotic mess. I can't for the life of me distinguish one object from another.…
I was trying to bake a 1k x 1k map on a single manifold object, the map types I was trying to create was a Normal, AO and Cavity with default settings. In honesty I didn't try just the normal or other isolated map types. I'll give it a quick shot again tomorrow as it's on my work PC. XNormal version is x64 3.18.3
Didn't quite make it to the challenge but I at least wanted to add this to my sketchbook. I continued working on it and trying to finish it afterwards. Very bad at trying to post updates on polycount as well. Trying to get better with that. Also, thanks @pmiller001 for your advice and concern during the storm. Real sorry I…

I will try to critique your work if I spot anything strange. day 14: I was trying to use the move brush more in this weeks…
You can try to do some things with Wine, skanker, but it all really depends on what, exactly you are trying to run. The other option is VMware which runs a virtual Windows machine inside linux. JK prolly has some good ideas as well, as I don't usually try to run much windows stuff in Linux
Hi everybody, I wanted to discuss and ask advice regarding a part of the high to low poly pipeline. My mentor told me that, as a last step before baking the normal map from my high poly to low poly, it is good to inflate/displace the high poly geometry (make it more puffy if you will) to completely cover the low poly…
