Hello guys, I am making a break from sticker creating and tried myself on a weapon finish. I started yesterday and made a quick concept. As always, I would love to hear your feedback :) http://steamcommunity.com/id/fiwa/myworkshopfiles/?appid=730 It all started with this: And very very late in the night ended with this:…
this one is for any guitarrists out there. i havent played for a long long time, ive been too involved with practicing my 3d art, and work. so i picked up my ax, and was surprised both at how bad i had gotten, and how good i still was. so i recorded a little video of me playing along to a children of bodom track (dont…
Just checking in to get crits on proportions thus far. I want to smooth and then detail more, but was was hoping to get some validation I have nailed the proportions or not before steaming ahead. Still playing around trying to get the pursed lips feeling satisfactory, but will focus on the body for now. Thanks for…
Hey, Nice work so far. I started a similar thread and just wanted to check we won't have the same outcome! Are you sticking with this semi realistic styling? I was going to go for a slightly more stylised pixar/light steam punk styling,so hopefully they will look different =)
I already have Bad Company 2 pre-ordered on STEAM - only 4 days left! I played 40+ hours over the 5 weeks of the beta, so yeah, I'm excited. :) There's a new commercial out too: [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aeJ1G-JFp6A[/ame]
I learned to use graph editor with source filmmaker it really helped me to understand animation too, good thing about it this skill translates to whatever else you use that has graph editor, if you have problems you could try it as well, download off steam, launch it play with it.
I think he's talking about developing for Mac. If it's games, then I'm sure it's similar to PC - you want to get on Steam. That's just a guess though. If you are looking to port a mobile game to desktop, Windows probably should be your first priority based on market share followed by Mac & Linux.
My favorite hand painted game is Hell. A fantasy, turn-based tactics game recently released on steam. A fairly hardcore wargame with healthy modding support. Lots of BitGem, gametextures.com and handpaintedtextures.com in the environment, could not have done it in 10 months without these amazing resources. Pimpin Out…
Yeah you are right. It really was 3rd person. The only lasting impression U9 made was that EA send me the patched CD to make it run better on DirectX for free. That was pretty neat of EA. (but the fanboy in me is still angry that they bought Origin - and then named their Steam competitor service after them too!)
They have expressed disappointment in their total sales (5,000 - 7,000 according to steam spy) so I'm pretty sure their goal was to make an appealing game. If they didn't care about making an appealing game, I don't understand why they spent five years on it and wrote so many words about their disappointment.
