this one is for any guitarrists out there.

i havent played for a long long time, ive been too involved with practicing my 3d art, and work. so i picked up my ax, and was surprised both at how bad i had gotten, and how good i still was.

so i recorded a little video of me playing along to a children of bodom track (dont worry you cant hear the screaming.) and id appreciate it if any of the guitarrists out there can throw some crits my way on what they see wrong with my current technique (looking at MoP).

Sounds pretty good, maybe the timing was off a bit..but you were shreddin.

Also hard to tell much with all that distortion, Play some acoustic!!!

Not half bad, some of your cord changes were a bit weak but it looked to me more like rusty fingers rather than bad techneque. You got some skills dude.

On a side note, try damping sections of the lead

1 = damped
0 = open

Should sound kinda cool :P

id say your precision is a little rusty is all, a bit of time with a metronome would bring it back to where it was in no time.

looked good to me, i cant really comment cause i havnt heard the original track and im a rhythm guitarrist so its not what i play but it seemed solid to me
