Talking of car dealerships, wonder if any of them have any ' free' cars ie a blender equivalent? everything would work reasonably apart from the really important stuff . It would not have electric windows, just the wind down type and not enough coffee cup holders
I have everything blocked out on her right now. I'm currently working on adding the little details in Maya, like the leather straps. Her hair may not be the best but it's just a place-holder for now. Is there anything I need to fix proportion-wise or anything else?
I think the strands need to be much thicker, more wiry for readability. Your strokes on the texture flats look super alias-y and cross over each other in a kinda weird way, so be bolder with that. Your card placement looks headed in the right direction, though.
Kind of amused. Apparently you can get to the area where the cinematic takes place and if you straighten the candle holder that the Orc used as a weapon you get an achievement. Looking forward to getting the collectors edition so I can zone out on the art book and soundtrack.
the chains and forehead lack detail and look like place holders, but the rest looks pimp especially the horns! I vote you pose the second set of hands and twist up the spine or something, they look alright in the concept but look boring when translated to 3D sub'd for more :)
Very nice metal ! I just think this hammer looks a little bit like a plastic ( I mean this holder, sorry for PRO english :D ). Maybe there is too much specular. Did you beveled the edges on the anvil? I just can't see this on the wireframe :D
4&8 go best with the background. You want this evilish german hightech feel which is so damn cold and harsh. the Helghast are heavily inspired by WW2 german tech, and the concept shows this aswell. Id go with colder tones than you have on your examples.
Cool :) I think her curves are more apparent in the concept though - waist thinner and hips wider. I also think you should make the cutline down the center of her chest wider/bolder, and the little glowing circle bigger too. Excited for the rest of the blockout :]
i understand that model can be made from various parts/elements but is it ok if it has multiple texture sets ? for example: 1 texture set for a wall of the house 1 texture set for air condition 1 texture set for propeller 1 texture set for the holder under conditioner
