also, it's usually worth thinking if there is a max way of doing what you want, and scripting that, usually is faster for max (noise modifier for instance sounds like what you are doing somewhat?) good luck!

CsPolyTools --> csSlide script , it's for free Polyboost has a feature called "ShfitLoop" which has some advances options (it can slide an edge loop and make the distance to sides the same for all the verts in the loop)
That's awesome Prof420, can't go wrong with arsh's mesh with Cryptic AR. That script totally blows biped out of the water for standard human rigs. Unfortunately I will not be making a standard human But thanks for the offering!
What version of XSI? What type of assets are you exporting? I'm considering adding UT3 skeleton support to my autorigger scripts to be used with actorX. Would be nice to know of any potential roadblocks.
