Thank you for taking the time to respond, but just to clarify, I’m not asking how to use Maya’s “Parent Constraint.” I’m pointing out that the feature itself is fundamentally not a real parent constraint, and that’s the core issue. the problem in the link you shared can indeed be solved by a "copy transform" (by blender…
thanx guys yea i know it got a lego feel (which i like lol) but im gonna try to make some realistic rendering later on with this model gotta add alot more details first
This is so cool. Great mix of art and fun. I'd love to come across that in the street and get baffled. :) You could put one on a beach, seems lego men end up on the beach and the news a lot these years.
derp double derp, tried associating the file with python and I don't know what I'm doing on the command prompt window sooooo I'm just gonna go back to playing with my legos in the corner now -.-
As much as I want to share the awesomeness in the form of pics and video, this is one beta I'm not willing to break the NDA for... I would not want to lose my beta place. I'll show ya as much Lego Universe as you want though :P
Yeah I concur, building a computer is not hard, if you can handle legos and downloading drivers, you can put together a PC. I would at the very least research the cost of building your own (don't forget to include OS in the budget).
disappointing to hear about all the problems. was thinking about picking this up for the 360 if and when i buy one in the next few weeks but maybe i should just buy Naruto and Lego StarWars Complete Saga instead.
Great idea for a thread.. So far ive worked on: Lego Batman DS Guinness World Records DS/Wii And my current, really cant wait for it to be announced!! Danr did you work at TT Games by chance?
when i was about 13 I built a skeleton using lego technics pieces and then covered the body with sculpey. worked pretty decent.. Damn, i wish i could find those old videos, they were awesome.
Looking neat! Personally kind of turned off by the giant, mostly solid blocks of color. Makes the entire thing reminiscent of children's building toys (the non Lego kind!). But hey I know some people like that, and overall the scene is quite nicely done.
