Nice! Cool to see it all laid out. Also how detailed the normal map is. I have tried some 123D Catch stuff (like my shoe hanging from string in garage) but the results were pretty bad. I wasn't too good at it.

It's likely that your padding amount is too low. 8k will need 64 pixels of padding outside each UV shell, so you need 128 pixels in the gutters between the shells. I would suggest adding more padding, just completely fill the empty gutters with padding. Photopea has a fast padding filter, and you may need to run it a…

The better you become in your crafts, the more skills you build up, the better you are prepared for the future. What you mention…
Snow leopard is 29 dollars. OSX generally costs 129. Snow leopard only costs 29. I am guessing the next OSX (Lion) will cost 129 again. As for mac hardware, well that is disputable. Yes their products often costs more money, but you get certain things that you don't with regular computers. These things may ore may not be…
Sure about the cooler? From what I read, the stock coolers are not that good and loud. I´ve changed the cooler to a cheaper one. And currently I am using an external 1TB that has 230gb left, so 2TB is fine. But I´ve changed the i7 to a Xeon 1230 v2, is that ok? It saves me 50€s.
