Character workflow question (number of meshes/UVs)
Hello! I'm currently working on female character for use in Unreal Engine 4. I would like to ask you if I should or shouldn't make a separate set of UV and textures just for hair? I have 2 UV sets, one for body, and one for head with eyes and free space for future mouth UV's -
[UE4] sci-fi relight
I had relit the sci-fi piece in UE4. Just wanted some additional thoughts on it so I can take that and use it on future pieces. Did 3 different lighting scenarios and lighting is baked. Did lighting and material tweaks on it. feedback is appreciated: well anything other than "great/good/fantastic/awesome/ok start" -
First Post - A Box
Thats right I made a box for my first Polycount post :) It helped me get more comfortable with modeling and mapping and baking normals. Hello and happy new year! I live in a diffirent time zone which also means that I come from the future. We have to conquer 2011 in game art. More cool stuff. More parcticles effects. A new WAYWO threar has to be done. Better than last years. I will post new contetnm soon. Good luck everyone. -

Thanks for the links. I'll definitely look into those for a future project, particularly the Plasticity workflow. Not heard of that one before. Is that exclusive to Blender at the moment? Not that that's an issue or anything. Was just curious. Also, regarding the game-ready low poly workflow, I think I've come across… -

that's totally true. the mac pro has not been updated in three years and there's total silence about it's future. that's not how you keep business customers commited to your platform. not sure tbh how apple imagines what content creators for it's ecosystem are supposed to use now. but that's another thread in itself. :) -

Hello TooLzor! Thank you very much for this tool, I use it all the time. Unfortunately, I noticed that I don't have the ability to save my PNG files with 16 bits/channel. Do you think it would be possible to add this option in a future update? Thank you! -

Amazing work, looking forward to future updates! In the second image near the bottom right at the window there is some sort of a line floating. Interested to see what you're going to for the background behind the windows in the second image. Edit: also I agree with Carabiner, the chairs do feel a little off. -

Thanks sun_smasher. Close to finishing this up, need to do the shells, the eotech, and some unique details, and the strap, hopefully done by thursday, quite busy atm. And doing some thumbnails for something in the future. Not to happy about them yet, but I'm having fun with them, so i'll get there eventually :)
