Using maxscript I am looking for information on how to use reaction manager but I find that there is almost no information on how to use it together with attribute holder . I’m very disoriented, I don’t know which is the way to do what I show in the animated image.
hi all this is my new prop my version of an equipable med-pack from the fallout universe some thing that you can see visually on your character .the arm holders are made of chair rests and the pack is made of scavanged vault parts. here it is. still in the modeling process.
1. Lack of color variation in reflecting environment . Colder tints basically in Fresnel. 2. the texture is shouting out loudly : PROCEDURAL . It's not that you need to recreate lots of texture height details here so a photo would be just ok.
Looking good so far, check the color of her eyes though, in the reference pic above it seems her eyes are a darker color then what you started to texture with. Unless the color you chose was just a place holder for now.
Pretty awesome work given the time constraints too! Really like the bottle and its leather holder. The wood on the knife looks a lot weaker than the rest of the model could do with a bit more detail in the colour and normal maps.
Here is The executioners pedestal. The floor is place holder for now (using another artists tiling texture). Now I just need to skeleton and pose my beast. let me know what you think
Hmm, I don't think the materials are reading very well. He doesn't look like metal, and are his arms supposed to be cloth or metal? Either need a spec map or being bolder with the directional painted highlights! (or both xD)
IP holders usually don't care about textures and models - BUT I think it's because they aren't really aware of them. If it's a mod, you're going to get shut down eventually just look at the last 17 years of modding history.
@Shinkiu yes, it is simply a place holder for the eye, I was going to start shaping the socket. I agree, the ball is massive, just couldn't' judge for myself! @Gilesruscoe: Thank for the graphical interp, it really puts things into perspective a lot better.
