Hey guys, Sometimes out of nowhere, some of my objects turn black on the default renderer. Anyone have any ideas of why this happens and steps that I can take to solve this issue? Look at the windshield in the image attached
Is it me or have they really stepped their game up for the new season? I've really enjoyed all 4 episodes so far. I think if I ever jump over the pond I'd want to try and get in on the audience action.
So my friend encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and try to model something new. So I decided to try a mech. The concept I found online from Google Images. Any guidance, advice, or comments are welcome!
Hello everybody. I've been trying to do another little house. It's taking me a lot of time, but I'm learning a lot (and failing 3x more haha). Is not finished but here are some of the steps I've completed: And a test render, because I'm anxious but far from finishing huhu
My initial blockout in Max. Next step's gonna be the lighting blockout in Unreal. @simonBreumier That's overall fitting the reference well. Looks like that tarp may be 3D - may be easier to manage, if it was based off a plane.
Here's my first rework of the scene based on everyone's advice: It's still not perfect, but I mildly tweaked many things which hopefully results in a noticeable step up in quality. Those things include: * Reshaping the building to better reflect the reference * Moving the camera to better display some of the valley *…
first step would be having the ground color matching the grass plane color, and you can have smaller grass at the edge of the grass patch, and yes these are too long on total war
@Frigus Thanks! Quick progress update. Scope and rail high poly is blocked out. Next steps are adding loops and/or running it through the ZBrush gauntlet. Until next time! - Ryan
Nice animation @teodar23, this is where I'm up to now. I'm going to be doing a similar thing and add the rest of the details with decals, so the next step is to make and bake down the details.
