The image is what I get WHEN I try to post the text I wrote. What I worte and tried to post/upload, gets deleted after the error (it looks like the image I attached)
I pulled that mech image the other day to do anyways. Guess its a sign to get to work. I'll post starting images this weekend or next week before i head to siggraph. Cheers everyone.

Hello guys. Is it possible to change the resolution of a normla map from 2048x2048 to 4096x4096 by increasing the resolution and not just leaving the image larger? I tried by Substance Painter with document size in 4k and by Quixel too, but just left the larger image I want to increase my normal map detail

The first image is from a prop on a plane and what I need to do is add more resolution to the ends. The second image is my attempt to fixing the problem. Since this model is for a client I am hoping to find a cleaner way of fixing this problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
