I found the solution. Somehow, my focal length of my camera changed to like 6000, which is weird, because my camera attributes weren't even open. It is back to 35 now, and looks fine. A mod can lock / delete this thread if needed.
The characters you have are really small and are getting lost in all of the dark bits on the ground. If they are your focal point, I'd do something to lighten up the area around them, so the greatest contrast on the page would be between them and whatevers behind them.
Decals, vertex painting, post processing. Labels/symbols on the tanks and the cold thing to symbolize cold so whatever it is people can understand its supposed to be cold. Also make a focal point with the lighting, currently the lighting in there is pretty regular across the whole composition.
Scene composition using high poly models, minus a few assets. I set out to mimic the composition of the original scene as much as possible but alter the look by changing up some of the assets, while keeping the focal point of the environment pretty much the same.
I think it's too dark right now. I'm looking at it.. it's 10:40 am and I just can't see what's going on. The darkest darks shouldn't be totally black and I'd light the area around the hologram better if it serves as your focal point.
if you unwraped it then bent it, you should have that uv map for it still. just unwrap before you bend,, sure you will get a bit of stretched uvs this way, but unless the pipe is large or is a focal point it should be ok (well bolts an such will get messy

I like the colors and mood, but the red/blue shift effect is very strong. That combined with the big drop shadows is making this really hard to read for me. I'd focus on establishing more of a clear focal point -- I'm honestly not sure what's going on in this scene.
Sorry, Dustin. Another one bites the dust for San Diego.. Work is getting tougher to find out here. Dustin, I got buddies at Trion telling me they are doing a major hiring push. They are located in Del Mar. Had an interview there and it's a GREAT studio!
I would love to work for Mythic/EA... I've been a die-hard fan of mythic for 6 years or so... too bad you're in Virginia! If you guys ever open a west coast location you can count on my application for sure.
