Actually if he wants to be working with Fallout 4 textures for modding or whatever, the Intel plugin is the better one. nVidia's doesn't handle the BC5 textures properly. Funny to see that thread linked, I never knew about that transparency thing, learn something new all the time!
id say drop the cables unless its obvious what function it serves. add more elements that are medical, like IV bags or gauze dispenser or chemical shower. here's a few health stations from other video games for inspiration. bioshock: fallout: halflife 2:
hi all this is my new prop my version of an equipable med-pack from the fallout universe some thing that you can see visually on your character .the arm holders are made of chair rests and the pack is made of scavanged vault parts. here it is. still in the modeling process.
Hey so I have been working on this for 2-3 days now and justI wanted some feedback on it, I don't have any references at this time as I was going off a rough idea it's a mortar of the game fallout 4 So please leave some feedback!!! thanks heaps!!
I am liking the uniqueness of the crate as well as the feeling of it actually being built from pieces. The monitor to me is looks fine as well, feels like a model out of fallout 3. Continue the great work and hopefully we can see some of these normal mapped and textured out!
I have a feeling I'm gonna die alot in that game. Looks badass though, beautiful environments. Those little training movies brought back fond memories of Fallout. Does anyone know if they had some other concept artists other than that Rob Waters guy?
Yep. Also what Kat said. Ditto. Although I find the idea of "President Cheney" possibly even scarier. But hell, there's probably a good chance that his his heart won't hold out for the next four years anyhow. And the long term fallout and backlash would be worth it.
thanks Man :D Initially the inspiration was diesel punk and Tor Fricks mech work, but the project has definitely shifted! I have changed my reference to be more like the fallout power armor and that 50s robot design for the clunkyness yet retaining smooth panels.
This is actually rather good, I haven't seen any D9 models with such detail beyond the machine gun you're currently working on a Fallout NV Mod. I think its only fair to ask you planning to release theses models whether it be commercial or open?
seriously this game is awesome. it has the randomness of fallout 3 but its gta, in the wild west. its so fun and looks gorgeous. for the amount of flat land they have there is always something to find and ride out to. im never going to get any work done now
