Here is my current high poly for my character currently fiddling with the anatomy of the torso and arms.
It would be great to here your crit/ thoughts!

P.S.

I did this character last December as part of university brief. It had a bunch of restrictions and I was just trying some of the techniques for the first time. Hence I really wanted to revisit and do a better job

Going through and refining the legs of this guy. Most of the time is spent trying to work out the rhythm of each piece connection to the next. It is certainly challenging working if it looks right. Lots of reference of Gundamns and Tanks

right of the bat, the thing that stands out to me the most is the anatomy, its a never ending process when it comes to anatomy, so i would take some time find more references and really dial that in, pay attention how the abs, pecs, and biceps, really pay attention how the muscles taper from one form to the next

your face seems really lumpy, i would take some time go back and smooth it out, for real, it really lumpy

kept it up though, i look forward to seeing your progress

Thanks some really good crit. Went and smoothed the face out, i put the lump in from the reference since his skin is quite rough. But on second viewing that wasn't because he had lumpy skin

Went over my anatomy it not quite there yet and traps/scapular is still pretty rough but it is a start. I need to learn some of the muscle forms in way more depth to do this right.

Stating to refine the shapes, few details which I put in. Trying to have it big and bulky like a WW2 tank. This stuff really ins't in my comfort zone but it is nice to be making progress.

Initially he was a sprinter (first project). But now he is more of a weight lifter. Missed leg day so much they cut them off.

Initially the inspiration was diesel punk and Tor Fricks mech work, but the project has definitely shifted! I have changed my reference to be more like the fallout power armor and that 50s robot design for the clunkyness yet retaining smooth panels.
