dont claim it to be wasted just call it contingecy (sp) for later revisions and additions depends on the forms being use though tbh and as long as you can get the most texel density for the forms, with the space you end up using, I wouldn't call it a bad thing. pixels aint nothin but a number.
Great work Azlios! Looks really cool! A bit late but here is where I got with the stylized environment. I got everything textured and spent a lot of time messing with the lighting in Unity. I still need to figure out a shader for the wet floor and add in the dirt and foliage. I think that will help break up the harsh…
Alright, here's an update. I feel like a lot could still be done if SP/Toolbag workflow worked like a charm. Now, Painter doesn't show any normal map artifacts between uvs but Marmoset does. Not sure why, and it's only visible close-up if you look at it. Regards, Ty
This is the latest Spec Gloss shader: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9804576/PBRSpecGlossNrmShadows.glsl Copy the file in your C:\Users\...\Documents\Substance Painter\shelf\shaders folder. You'll be able to select it in the Viewer Settings in SP. You will also have to setup your outputs in the Texture Set Settings…
Can anyone confirm that I don't need to play multiplayer inorder to get the so called 'best' ending? The entire thing of Militia, Readiness, etc which fills only via Multi, etc has me confused. I simply cannot believe (hopefully not) that Bioware would gimp the SP for the MP in an RPG based element.
Ha one might never know, I'll hold out a little with mailing him though. Going to make some more "buildings" and level "parts" and construct a map and tf2 mod with lowpoly assets, as now the project by indecom seems to have died. Here's dustbowls SP building :) *edit: bandwith exceeded, everything is down!
Hey, looks pretty good: One of the tools listed is 'Gigapixel AI' so I don't know how much of this is actually your work. I see you intend to add breakdown/process shots, so that's good. I recommend doing an image showing it tiled. Lots of photogrammetry based materials look amazing until they start repeating. You've also…
Yes I played gears 2 on 360, awesome game, sp ao looked like junk. But better than nothing. And yeah it was mega fady, just stand the character in front of anything casting ao. This borderlands shit just looks really really nice, totally smooth no blurry jaggies or artifacts I can notice any ways.
I agree to an extent. I usually use the (sp?) on proper names or places and, more than likely, use it when I am in a hurry. So yah, I admit it is a bit lazy. What does annoy me is abbreviating words that are already only like 3-5 letters long. Just spend the extra couple seconds to hit the damn keys!
@pior Also didn't have a drawing tablet at the time, actually still don't but currently looking at XPen's Artist 12 for what I want to do plus within budget of what is affordable. As for using AD to sketch with, well once I became comfortable dealing with each layer - masked curve grouping and various output settings this…
