This absolutely stunning. Great Job! One minor critique from me is that as a CG artist, I will notice when something is a hard edge (smoothing group). In 99% of this it works, but in some areas such as the portals around the entrance it just looks like faceting rather than deliberate hard edges. Again though, great work!
I got the Atlas Texture fetching working and also the Textures itself are generated and assigned to the objects, though the UV offset is not yet implemented. Here is a screenshot of the current build: note that here it already compresses 99% because there is only 1 texture in use - so all triangle drawing calls can be…
I do like Crazybump's method, feed it a normal map and it outputs a very cool map (with Sharpen & Flatten at 97, since 99 produces weird noisy artifacts), which has "raised" edges highlighted and crevice edges darkened. Useful for overlaying onto spec maps to pick out the highs and darken the cracks.
Then you will have to sign up contract and send to employer. After that you'll get order and deadline to do it. When you done- send and take FIXES, a lot of fixes, prepare yourself! Don't call asset done before customer, or you'll get pain in the ass=) So, work 1%- fixes 99% And in the final- $
my first lightwave animations. the detailed models i didnt make lol! this stuff is 98-99 stuff. http://www.planetgargoyle.com/vid/FixedKilltheborg.AVI http://www.planetgargoyle.com/vid/BattleTest.AVI http://www.planetgargoyle.com/vid/HoverCar.avi (omg original modeling work) and my very first venture into 3dsmax…
Just Quad-Menu 99% of your shortcuts and done, all you'll have trouble is getting a good Alt, Ctrl and Space control going for your Tablet. So yeah, I would like a video too since my Tablet and Max have lots of issues with the more function keys.
I wouldn't consider myself an expert but for starters I'd say 99% of the time modelling toes is pointless for games, since essentially all the time the character will be wearing shoes. Secondly, its difficult to see from your screenshots but keep into consideration how the joints will contract/ stretch during animation. i.e
Yeah I've restored the Maya defaults as well as trashed the .plist file (basically deleting the preferences forcing Maya to create new defaults). And the problem still exists. I'm 99% sure this is just going to be a glitch somewhere in the Mac version of Maya. It's just very weird that it worked one day, but then not the…
Yeah I agree totally with you Blaizer. I mean you're so right. Its like this, to comparing arguing on the internet to the Taliban, but then you are a fucking Nazi. Such good comparison. Also, welcome to an internet forum, where 99% of activity consists of one user telling another his opinions are wrong.
Honestly they need calm down. I know that it is a huge grey area. But banning music in youtube videos? 99% of the videos I watch on youtube are mountain bike movies with music over it. Oh and did I mention this kid is FUCKED! [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lm_n3hg-Gbg[/ame]
