New texture that I was working on since this morning. I doubt this one will be used though, too clean for one. That and the fact my concept artist told me there are no bricks in the environment tehehe.... so this is now a practice throwaway piece.
EarthQuake - Thanks for clarifying that information. Im still in my high poly modeling practice right now and will be getting to the low poly/texturing in a couple of weeks. This will be good to think about when i tackle those situations. :D
Good that you guys like it :) This quickstuff is good practice, I should do it again. Here is a Turntable video, in case someone wants a wider peek. http://www.vimeo.com/11028071 (no idea how to embed videos here, sorry)
[ QUOTE ] He has suggested in the past that a meteor could strike Florida because of unofficial "Gay Days" at Disney World, and that feminism caused women to kill their children, practice witchcraft and become lesbians. [/ QUOTE ] Whoa! What a guy!
I started modelling this Audi A6 Avant after watching a tutorial video for 3d studio max. Don't know if it is simpler but it's good practice. Not done yet. Lots of vertex pulling left and some details yet to be added.
Thanks bouchfx I found a picture on the net of these two real life dogs and thought it was a good one to start practicing drawing with. So, I tried to draw it out in a quick sketch style and came up with the drawing above.
quick question I've often wondered about, http://www.pixlode.com/upload/578d_swordhelp1.png for the handle, I was thinking about making it a seperate element. Is this bad practice? should it be once continuous model or is this a good way to save polys?
hey autopsy soldier that would be really rad , do you have msn ? your pc specs seem practically the same as mine , the only diff is that i only have 1 graphic card :P and winxp64 bits.
I think for Nakia, you need those curls tighter together and have much more random placement as well as some size variation. There is far too much space between the curls and they are practically a grid pattern right now.
Good points, I don't focus much on foliage do I will try to get some practice in, in the future. I see what you mean with the painted work, Theres not much of it so I'll turn them off for now.
