Thanks guys! Guess I really just needed a fresh set of eyes for a lot of this stuff. Working on a lot of the suggestions you threw at me, got the stairs a bit smaller, running my AO and I guess I'll build those handrails up a bit to make them more solid, I'll post some updates soon as some of these are done. That scaling is something I have yet to get down completely...I get that with everything...If I get a large image from, how do I know what size to make the wood? I thought that the display case wood looked good lmfao...Will try again though. On the glass, This is what I used then just turned the transparency in Maya way… -

Loving this, only thing it might benefit from is some some more chipping in the paint, that might help break up the red a tad more, and help sell it as painted old wood. lol i know what you are saying. I upgrade my pc one in 5 or 6 years, and normally i cannot upgrade big. This time, i only have this great opportunity to go for a nice big upgrade. humm interesting, so its a problem with "history: step back" instead of undo/redo. I can't get undo/redo to switch layers. But I have Ctrl-z (classic undo) set to History: step back, its easy to forget I bound it and easy to mistake it for "undo". Can anyone get it to happen with undo/redo? I didn't even notice but it looks like this forum caps the image resolution. Those images are supposed to be really big. I want to say something like 4000 by 1350. If you get a mac laptop, I would recommend the 13inch pro. ($1199 usd). The air is nice, but limited to 2GB ram. That's why I'd recommend the pro instead.
