Edit: I again checked this site http://www.cggallery.com/tutorials/displacement/ and just tried some stuff. In the end hdri map at step 10. fixed it. Crazy but it worked :S
Here I am with another update, I worked everyday in my scene and it's progressing slowly, still more assets to come, I hope to finish this step tomorrow or friday ;) .
Starting testing boots armor Multi-tile displacement in Arnold. Seem to work fine. Next step will be testing some Substance Painter with Arnold, we will see how it goes!
Awesome job! Once you add some sound from his hits, steps, and breathing it'll be amazing. Also the specularity/reflections on his shorts are way too strong.
It's understandable that a topic like this can make people emotional, but some of you need to scale it back. We need to all step away from blanket assumptions and hyperbole. Also:
UPDATE: Apparently UDK automatically detects gamepad input (using a Xbox gamepad for those who were wondering) So step A is done! w00h00. Ok time for some scaleform!
I was able to fix it, I was using an old version of C4D until just a few days ago and with the update rigging was changed slightly and required an extra step, thanks for the input.
Maybe a broken stair case up onto the porch. It just seems a little high for like just a step up, i know its not in the reference but hey it something to enhance it.
I would bring the width of the stairs much closer to that of the original. Right now it looks somewhat out of place to have such ridiculously wide steps leading up to such a small room!
