The only reasons I think it needs anything more complex is the high frequency grass stuff - you'd need fairly large textures to get the information in and it would be tricky (not impossible, but time consuming) to avoid seams at any point where the geometry goes off-grid Either would work out fine though I'm sure
Hi guys, Well first off I'm new here and second of all, thank you for taking an interest in this thread . Well where to start heh. I'm looking for members to formulate a game development team. Presently budget is low, but if needed, I can pay you something. The team will specialize in the formulation of 2D based games for…

Hey guys, I've been working on this a bit over the last few weeks. It was for my senior capstone project but since the summer semester is ridiculously shorter than an actual semester I had to try and get out something relatively basic. herself. Sulking, she ventured…
Looks like you started with a too high rez. Unless you are experienced the work is always going to look like lumpyvill. Start low, get the layout right, then go in and define the sculpt. Just my opinion, but concentrating on separate body parts as a study method leads to unbalanced learning. You can see this at times with…
Hi! I think overall the image doesn't tell much of a clear/consistent story. What do you want to convey to the viewer? Subject wise, you could work off existing concepts or photos. Composition wise the camera is quite close. The knife storage seems a bit unpractical. As they are knifes, one would probably like to grab them…
He is a wee bit gumby. You might be better off trying to get the figure down before throwing costume into the mix. Regardless of a style you are aiming for, everything looks rubbery and in need of expression (edit: more definition).
Hi! Congrats on finishing the project! I like the idea, however the readability of the design could be improved, from the silhouette but also the interior shapes. For example currently, the beard gets visually cut off by the dark braces. Sometimes using different materials can help to contrast layers against each other.…
