If you find yourself switching back and forth between local and world you might want to take a second to set up a "double tap shortcut". Max5.1 SP1 viewport problem
I just got an FX 5700 so I updated max 5.1 to SP1 tp take advantage of the DX9 features. Now, for some reason all meshes are showing up as white. I can assign a material to the mesh and it stsys white. Yes, I've clicked the show in viewport option in the material editor, but still no luck. anyone else here run into this? -

@coven hey Mate, It's the viewport and UI menus, when moving them to expand, It takes 4-5 second for them to move + show up. The viewport is very sluggish and causes delays. Toolbag 3.08 crashes during baking, even when using the Widget bake scene
This happens not only on my personal projects, but even attempting to use the bake test scene Marmoset provides. The program crashes to desktop almost immediately.
