Thanks guys LotekK -- yes i'm going to be releasing the source code for this. tom.drin - The script works by having the user select their already made leaf meshes... these meshes can have an edit normals modifier on them and it will work just fine. When you bake the tree, i'm not merging any meshes at all, everything…
I've noticed I've gone rogue with sculpting on the second test, I would like to combine the general form of first test with the look of the second. About Tiling, it's normal if it's more abvious in the second style, I've done smaller tiling textures (less stones). Faster to sculpt/texture, need less texture space and so…
your scale is all off, the concept shows a grand castle looming over everythign aorund it with great lines of sight over all potential incoming armies, you have a small celtic yurt collection that couldn't repel a herd of cows. the concept feels very sharp and angular, dangerous rocks and crevices, you have squat round…
There's always the odd beat option of mass appeal, like this campaign here. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/990500595/subverse The art is definitly great but it does have that additional element that gets you likes on artstation.etc While the kickstarter is SFW sort of, I wouldn't click the link to the company home…
I played around a bit with a few background elements and adjusted his right leg to an elevated bending position rather than a grounded one. Ez is now arcane shifting from the back right of the shot to the front left. Parts of his cannon get lost in with the background at the moment, but i'll fix that up after I go to…
They should just put Harvey Dent in one of those bubbles to avoid infection - job done. The character models overall are really well done, but the faces have a very generic feel to them. And why do the henchmen have completely grey hair and beards? To match their vests? I'm sure that this game is going to be tons of fun…
Congrats! Crossing the finish line is tough but so rewarding! I haven't played the game yet, but noticed that the website is really lacking some visual elements. No screenshots or anything eye catching to get my interest right off the bat or even tell me what kind of game it is. Also your logo is dark text on a dark…
Thanks! When I'm done i'll be sure to provide some detail as to how I modeled things. All I'm really doing right now is relatively simple. Modelling to the grid, setting grid scale to meters, combining elements together to create objects that are then thrown into max, using the "create shape from selection" tool, etc. etc.…
pretty sure that fire effect = combustion effect. paramaters seem to be the same. results look the same too. TBH though mate why are you messing with 10 year old shite like this. the result is shockingly bad. If your just making an element why not take a look at blenders smoke/fire system. [ame]…
I'm guessing you are talking about Substance Painter. There is curently no way to merge multiple texture sets at export time. Texture Sets are meant to be separate materials with each their own UV set. If you have multiple elements that will end up on the same UV set, you should not separate them in multiple texture sets.…
