Beat me to it Pola lol @Mane It works on a simple cube because its perfectly divided into quads Ngons are faces that have more than 4 vertexes per face they are usually bad and need be avoided Example of N-gon: Now divide that ish!
Is that Z4R2? The default behavior for me has the back-facing edges gray and the front-facing ones orange, instead of all orange like that. I don't think it is the result of a custom UI either : / What steps do you take to begin editing the topology?
I've got another couple of questions :) You've mentioned an upgrade to the color ID system. What exactly does this mean? Also, for the painting part, will we be able to color entire polygons? Like click somewhere on a cube face and that entire face changes color?
Ok i fixed some things so far, like the wrinkles in the belly and fixed the face some. I'm trying to put details in the face while keeping the cuteness of the character. Ummm i think the hands are too small? What do ya'll think?
I never had an issue with the face-editor in Oblivion. Then again, I made my faces in the editor, using a tablet, with high-quality textures and custom races, so I can't really say anything about people who play the game stock.
the rock face looks like a rock texture on a lumpy sheet of rubber, try making shapes that already look like rocks before adding any rock/grit texture or brushes. Depends what kind of rock face you are going for I guess
I think I'm begining to work it out... I'm collapsing the stack each time now and reselecting the previously mapped faces each time I want to map a new set of faces. They then appear in the edit window. Did I mention I was a noob?
Hi guys this is my new personal project, I tried to do an elf with deadskin to translate a Darkelf to bring more mystification and tried to do a face more masculine face ! Bigger thanks to my friend Jose Pericles, he helped me on the process of this project ! Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Oy2Bgv
I have tried to get my proportions looking as believable as possible, as well as adding details to the face. Is there any critical feedback on the model in terms of the body form or facial features? I want to give the face more realism but I am a bit stuck on how to do so. Any feedback would be hugely appreciated :)
I am delving into MODO and loving it so far but I do have a problem: the MODO default "selecting back faces" selection is set to middle mouse button. However, I have my UI navigation set to 3DSMax in which MMB is Panning. Where and how can I find what new key is mapped to ""selecting back faces" ?
