Fixed: The issue was when I originally made the 2nd ID i had copied it from the first. So while their temp textures were different, the mat names were the same. Renaming the mat's fixed it.
Try objectPainter from Neil Blevins. He also regularly updates his tools, and loves feedback. Some great tools in here. The renamer is an essential tool for me. http://www.neilblevins.com/cg_tools/soulburnscripts/soulburnscripts.htm
Wow, nice work Mark, and a very handy script to boot. May I ask why you have it rename the object material? I would assume it wouldn't help much on the UDK side of things?
I set a Max style navigation for Blender 2.8 for myself. It's only Max viewport navigation and focus selection with Z , noting else. Rename it to anything.py (couldn't attach it as .py) and import in edit>preferences>keymap>import
The forum is called Pimping and Preview, so I don't see that people should be obligated to do more than pimp their artwork. I like the idea of either renaming it, or adding a new tutorial/workflow/help forum.
When you save a Google Earth .kmz from the free version, you can rename the extension to .zip and extract your model. I think it's a collada .dae. That's an old trick though, hopefully it still works.
Hey Brian! Rename line 5 from Reload(main.main()) to main.main() and you should be good to go! Maya doesn't include the render bar right now because we're still developing it! Apologies for the inconvenience, Scott.
These forums are going to be renamed id-count before you know it. :poly108: Tell Mr. Carmack I sure will be buying a Blue-ray drive if id does release the special edition of Rage on blue ray. :D
This thread should be renamed to awesome sauce! The only thing that stands out for me is the thickness of the hair strands on the mutant's mohawk, but everyone knows mutant hair is thick and heavy, quite deadly when used in last resort! :)
Hey there, I've been having some trouble painting over textures on my landscape. Every time I try to add this lava texture to the lanscape, it deletes the uv in that area. I don't get it, I've tried reimporting the texture, renaming it, etc.
