Thanks for the PM, I'm gonna be having a friend over as well. Also Waz, I dunno the exact location of where you're at but the 25 bus goes though Canada Way where you can change to the 130 bus that ends at Metro town as well but the best way is just take the skytrain.
hm, the only thing that irks me is I think the neck is a teeny bit too thin. other than that I think it looks good so far. here's a couple of zbrush tutorials on hair: http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Tutorial:_Hair_Sculpting http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=1312
I've assigned the keys 1,2, and 3 to pan, zoom and rotate (you may have to delete their normal assignments). Never used those keys before and it works great. I agree that once you get used to using a tablet you will never go back. Use it all day for everything.
I've been pushing to improve my anatomy capabilities and this piece has been my latest in that regard: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/VgnE24 (The ArtStation has more Pictures, Scroll to the bottom of the ArtStation post to see the Anatomy Sculpt) This character will be a playable character in a mobile game being made…
I like 6, although I prefer the shoulders and scarf in 7. I like the sort of regal look they have. Reminds me a bit of some of the character designs from this comic: http://www.rice-boy.com/vattu/index.php?c=102
Update 1.2 is live! Comes with ton of improvements. Most importantly, now you can modify/add skills without a need for scripting. Plus, price is now reduced by -25% (untill next update goes live, so grab it now)!
I found some quirky ways of speeding up this app; [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nS6NGO5_BxA"]iBath 1.2.1 (almost unlimited Ducks) - YouTube[/ame] Unlimited ducks basically. Out in a few days. Current version (1.2) here: http://itunes.apple.com/app/ibath/id486196001?ls=1&mt=8
HP - looks awesome, thumbs up! Unwraps look pretty messy and need to be more efficient (5% waste TOPS!). Tile identical pieces on top of each other, only leave unique UVs for unique damage/textures. Check out this Benelli Orb made: http://orbart.free.fr/index.php?Gallery=102
I use UV Transform to map 2D faces on to 3d characters. discussed here: https://www.pixelfondue.com/blog/2016/10/24/modo-102-2d-face-workflow-on-3d-characters You can also map image sequences onto the geo and move them around by moving the texture locators.
