cool. I'm willing to help test. A feature that would be great would be to solve the pipeline issue of wanting to set up scenes in Maya, and export this information to a Unity scene.
a blockout of the scene, not sure about the proportions for maelstrom - ship- characters. but will guess will working it out when i start plac[SKETCHFAB]5b5a3269aeb548a0808432bb8da3db05[/SKETCHFAB]ing them into the scene.
@Fade: Hey I just checked this on maya 2011 and it works like it used to. I opened a file in a scene, and when I went to open a file, it was in that scene folder...
Is that your actual scene or is that a simplified version? If that's your actual scene just render each one separately, then add them together in PS. Took me five minutes.
Everything looks good, but the scene lacks life right now, maybe some more dramatic lighting or a more vibrance in the colors will help to make the scene more dynamic.
It's looking good so far! Are you planning on having the aforementioned terrain blend the existing scene into a proper landscape then? Or are you going to stick to this trophy-esque type of scene? :)
( good model + good texture + good composition in the scene + good lighting + consistent pixel density ) > ( good model + good texture + good composition in the scene + good lighting ) ;)
So im currently creating a small scene manily focused on the chest, Im trying to create a small scene that would fit within the world of God of War, I have some screenshots. Il be using this thread to post updates and recive feedback :)
Did a sci fi boiler based off of the concept art from pene menn. High res version of the room. Want a critique and some thoughts on how to improve overall scene before creating low poly version and texturing the scene.
