Alright will do! It'll take some time as I've clearly (I think foolishly would be a better choice of word here) made assets all over the place (viking house, a mansion, a western house) but once I make a full single environment I will do def that.
Artstation all the way. They kinda just popped up right as CGHub died so they're constantly implementing new features. Every update has been good though. Also: The devs behind Artstation have done some other good work (Drawcrowd). http://www.ballistiq.com/
You can run SVN on webfaction - they're more dev friendly than Dreamhost, although they may not have 1 click installers. They also have Redmine and other useful development tools there. I moved there from Dreamhost because it was just a hassle to host my Python projects.
Fantastic work as always Chris, I love the police helmet. Dem Bevels. I think in some places the HDRIs are alittle noisy and as a result the geo looks borked just because of the sheer amount of light information contradicting the geo. This is most noticeable around the eyes on the second helmet.
I just heard back from our Unity dev: The importer links the Masks texture to the AO input because AO is packed inside the Masks texture. In regards to NormalBump maps, we're looking into that. It appears that the script (and Unity itself) should be using the Normal LOD textures instead.
This one is great man, def my favorite! I like how you can still tell who the character is but it still has an essense of your "style" in it (I prefer that over trying to make it look exactly like the character). Good job, I look forward to more!
You can move layers out of folders by ungrouping them. Holding down the "Alt-key" while clicking the "Group button" will ungroup the folder that is currently selected! Duplicating folders is something the dev team is looking in to at the moment! Let me know if you have any further questions!
I wish Japanese developers were more open about showing off their assets and talking about how they create stuff, like western devs do. Would be a lot easier figuring things like this out. Although it seems easily explained now through UE4 decals.
Is there no medical engineer or something like that? Those that design all those implants, prosthesis etc., kinda Deus Ex like guys? We are not that far away from this future with 3D printing and other technologies, so maybe there exists profession that requires 3D and medical knowledge in one person?
