Someone at work recently bought an Eee slate and Zbrush works quite well on it, enough pressure levels and you can substitute keyboard with an app that shows your wanted keys on screen.
stoofoo - 3d coat is wicked buggy and will randomly crash if there are too many verts on screen for me.May just try Topogun again.Great vid man.Learning a ton from em. Keep it up!
I wish I had done this differently for this New Bloom, but here is my Drow, pretty pleased with the results, this was also my fist time making a loading screen for myself :poly136:
JGBulmer You should look into calibrating your screen! Most of your images have over the top contrast as well as they are too dark, which makes them almost impossible to see.
Maybe give two options? Baby Dark and Baby Blue? It would be great option for those of us who like to sit up late and have a dark background on our screens.
Hi, so yeah, after some bugfixing I've started to move on with the modeling and created the HP version of the suppressor. So far this is what it looks like (Mudbox screen cap): Peace
I think the screen shot is really dark and it'll be hard to get comments from people without posting wires and texture flats. What do you want critiqued, specifically?
Used real-time reflections instead, definitely looks better- at the expense of my computer blue-screening at one point. I seriously need more ram. :( http://vimeo.com/77398390
I'd skip the whole high poly part, that's total overkill for what will end up as a tiny model on a tiny screen with a texture around 256 x 256 or less. Paint it by hand.
While we are at it, don't forget about this little hidden pie-menu which is "Alt-Q". This is a great time saver when working in full screen if ever you get lost.
