Robo Hordes/Blitz Demo Unreal 3 Engine
While I was not impressed at all with this demo, I thought I'd post a link to the download to those interested in UE3 technology. It will only run on HT or Dual Core processors. My paintover was about process, not style, like I said. It's a fundamental process you follow whether you are figuring out your design in clay, ink, markers, paint, whatever. You could even still take those general shapes of my "big" design and move them in a more organic direction, it's mostly a matter of how you work… -

Robt and the Dragonfly (personal): For the past few days, I've been working sculpting the environment as well as texturing the environment and putting final touches on the dragonfly. The dragonfly is now fully rigged, as soon as I finish texturing the environment and the robot, I'll start animating :) -
Re: How can I improve this render?
The wall feels blank and disconnected from the rest of the scene and narrative. Is there a mushroom or something coming out of the back of the robot, can't tell what it is exactly. The front arms are a bit too cut off so the pose doesn't read as well as it could, IMO. The camera lens of the robot probably should stand out… -
