Hi! I would say the easiest/ first thing would be to adjust the framing. Assuming the story of the render is the robo-dog examining the ball, I'd put that more in the focus.

The wall feels blank and disconnected from the rest of the scene and narrative.
Is there a mushroom or something coming out of the back of the robot, can't tell what it is exactly.
The front arms are a bit too cut off so the pose doesn't read as well as it could, IMO.
The camera lens of the robot probably should stand out more and consider putting an indicator light so it looks on.
The ivy on the back wall is kinda throwing off the scale for me, the leaves look really small. The scale in general feels a bit wonky, like the twigs seem too big.

Latest with some story elements. Probably going to add some more and texture the bot next.ably

    This is really getting there!

It's not clear whether the robot is active, or shut down. Might help to add a lit LED on the front somewhere?

The house looks like it has holes in it, showing the sky behind it, which makes it look like there are no rear walls. But it looks more like errors than like a clear storytelling detail.

Thanks for your feedback Eric! The below image is my final render, got really frustrated with the render at the end. Probably going to learn from my mistakes and apply it to the next render! You are right about the holes in the house, didn't realize until you pointed it out.

make it look like its attacking a helpless small animal and even the animal is like wtf is this thing, you know menacingly.
    Or
... try to make it cute like its not going to break every bone in everyone's bodies if it hits you once so the childrens will like it more and be like aww how cute it likes me, type of vibe.
