hmm.. well.. coming up with the 'sublime' green paint is proving to be nigh impossible, i've got one last hobby store in the area that i'm hoping on... if this should fail, i've come up with an alternative paint job i've always fancied: http://www.ktsmotorsportsgarage.com/bbdo-i/images/ferrari-hood.jpg
I'm seriously considering going back to school and getting a second bachelor. I was wondering what everyone's thought's were. Would it be a waste of time? I have a degree in Game Art but can't see using it professionally, only as a hobby. Would it make more sense to get a masters instead? Any opinions or advice would be…
That is a really good point. I would think employers would want to hire employees that are approaching their career choice in a step further by it also being their hobby. I was 24 when i started with level design as a hobby (only some brief experience years before). Learned modeling when i was like 26. First industry job as a level designer with 27. Only started to be a full time 3d environment artist a year ago with 32.
Why do people get hung up on the car? It's not like it's the first time we see 300+ year old vehicles in Star Trek. Lots of characters in this franchise have a fascination with the past (like Tom Paris in Voyager with his big hobby being just that, 20th century cars).
Hi guys !! :) I would love a feed back on this sculpt ! I am curently studying realist anatomy as a hobby but I feel a little bit stuck with my learning-curve. I feelI have to share the work to get external advice. If you have advice, tips or other, do not hesitate ! Thank you very much :)
Thanks for the warm welcome folks. Good to see some familiar names again and good to know that that some at least vaguely remember me. :) Also very hapy to see that the hobby crowd is still welcome. I look forward to getting my WIP postings critted to hell and back and learning from that experience.
Tends to be everywhere. Even I have first-hand experience from being the victim of several 90s-born-psychobrats that just want to set the world on fire, and that's just over simpler things, like hobby models that I refuse to just simply hand over to a gmodder that wants to make a name for himself!
