Yep, it snaps the object by its pivot so if your pivot it way off... Also sometimes you need to toggle the look down axis to get it right. are you guys talking about vigs problem or the zoom slowing down? its the way the 3d camera works, it has a pivot point which is where you rotate about-so if the pivot point is in the middle of nowhere you zoom in and it appears to stop.. you're getting infinitely close to the pivot point in space. works the same in mudbox… -

Haha, well, I would say that as a fighter pilot, 90% of the flying you do is geared towards training. Because as you said their are not any bogies over Australia, all the flying that we do here is basically to get ourselves so good that if there WERE a boagie, we would be right to blow them out of the sky. A few things... 1) The outer spline is a bit messy, some of the outer teeth on the sprocket have double verts which is going to cause problems. 2) You need a plan for the edges connecting the two pieces together. 3) Centering the pivot point should help you align, rotate and duplicate pieces so they are mathematically… -
FBX Issue Inside Unity3D
I just noticed an issue with imported Skinned Mesh Renderer objects in Unity3D. All of the meshes' pivot points default to 0,0,0 (origin) despite the pivot points being properly set inside Maya. I thought you placed nulls at the end of bone chains to stop unreal from creating an extra bone when its converted (at least on characters). Here is a better picture.
