Hello guys, I have a dell S2230MX that I bought when I wasn't yet a 3D artist, untill now I've found it pretty good tbh. Anyway I'd like to get a second monitor and the price range it's between 100-170 , nothing extreme, a 21.5 / 23" monitor with 1920x1080 LED would be good. Should I pick the same monitor? I'm a bit…
Hello , How woudl you judge my first works on Zbrush , when I finally got toknow some tools? I didn't want to spend an exagerated amount of time just because I am using this to make a mod and not a serious work and I am doing for fun and learning the tools .... I skipped on purpouse themaking of fur couse Ipreferred to use…
For Monitors (UK website) It's a good place to buy stuff from if you're in the UK. The monitor I've linked is a really nice one. I picked out 2 of these for my brother's PC I built for him. The picture quality is fantastic. Although we had a problem with one of the screens we bought, Iiyama has first class customer…
Ok before I lock this thread down please stop feeding the trolls. Greevar registered barely a month ago and has almost 230 posts in that time, most of them being in threads like this. So more art Greevar less trolling ey? Good, now back to the topic at hand. It was pirated. It's a shitty thing. Pirates have been doing it…
I see what you're saying now. Sometimes when you move an ATA drive on a 32-bit controller to a 48-bit one or vice versa (like an ATA-133 controller that supports >137GB, assuming it wasn't a SATA I or II drive) the data won't be read properly and the volume will show up in Disk Management as needing a signature and a…
I am sitting on the3 fence here, thinking it would be easy to buy a new pc, but maybe just upgrading the RAM and video card might be ok I do mainly zbrush with a bit of rendering and tbh zbrush is fine on my current system, but baking AO is rather slow current system is intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33 GHZ 2.34 GHZ…
I do have bake animations enabled, and if I try to export the rig as well, Maya crashes. Whenever I export though, I get this warning message. "243 attributes had complex animation. Complex animation was exported as baked curves. (29160 evaluations done)" I'm guessing this might be the issue, but I have no idea how to fix…
I only have 4 GB of ram on this system (laptop, not planning on building a tower or buying a W8 tablet until next year) and so only dedicate 2.3 GB to it. I have my eye on some 2x 4G gb sticks but I don't have $60 to spare. Projection brushes render any brushes in 3D, like the 3D brushes that were in CS5, so that you can…
If anyone strong with Object-Oriented or Objective-C programming and is looking to switch industries from game development, NCR (www.ncr.com) has direct-hire/permanent-placement opportunities in the Atlanta area. They have a new Cloud product being developed so there is a nice variety of Software Engineering positions…
I have your same setup and I run it decently (40-55), hopefully itll be more optimized over time Game looks like crap for the load its pulling, though. It looks really good in some areas but overall it looks like garbage because of Arma's infamous LOD quality. Looks great from far away, looks great up close... medium…
