I'll usually have a google doc open while learning new stuff, and if something sticks out or it's something I know I'll forget I'll take a screen grab and then jot down the process.
Nice. Only thing I noticed though is that in one of the screen shots, one of the tops of the dome structures look really clean compared to the rest of the environment. It stands out. Amazing overall job though.
great high poly! it looks to me like there's something funky going on with the lighting on the handle tho.. could you give a screen shot with only 1 light, infront of the cleaver a bit and above it somewhat?
What engine runs 15,200 triangle enemies? Doesnt that severly limit the number of on screen characters. I am purley asking to seek knowledge. From my understanding that is almost double the norm. Thanks.
I communicated with him through text message (yes, at Victory), and it sounds like that's what they did. Nobody got screens or video captures of any of their work. They locked them all out as soon as they could.
11 minute download? Damn you, I want it NOW! EDIT: It gave me the blue screen of death once and froze my comp another time. That is after 4 hours of playing tho :)
This is quite cool in fact! Especially for a school project. The only thing I disliked was foreground objects between the hero and the camera. They appear too often and take too much of screen space, very annoying.
Camtasia is a good screen recorder, with plenty of usefull features. Good videos btw ! Does this spagetti thing is build in splines? Could be cool to setup armor and suit design shapes then apply a surface modifier on it !
haha yeah but im talking about getting out from behind a computer screen every once an awhile, and maybe you know hosting an event or something, it takes a lot of work, but it can be done.
I would like to see some consistency in your render/screen shot size, especially since your using Light box. The first image of angel is a good size, I would go with that.
