I've been working to get back into 3d modeling for about 3 years. ( I had a stroke in 2017 leaving me with half of my body having limited having limited function, it's still improving but I found the razer naga and found i was able to bind keyboard keys to the side of the mouse (12 buttons). would love to get some feedback!

Yeah Except you just added another 6 polycount triangulating it. which is alot slower than your original 6 polycount :) 12 polycount triangulating it isnt good. not good at all
12 is the best setting. You're going to need to provide a lot more information than that, what program you're using, why you dont like the results you're getting, screenshots, etc.
