I mentioned it before, but I really wish that Autodesk didn't buy up XSI, I really liked that program and I came from using Max before that. Im back to Max, more because that was what they were using where I used to work, but from what I heard, XSI didnt really get any advantage from it and all the good ideas and updates… -

Ohhh wait, I get it, you want better uv tools, and a better modeling package that will increase productivity? Great up-dates with every new version, and developers that will listen to the community? I googled "Pop_n_plugs_b6", and it seems that is the beta6 version of the Pop_n_Fresh MD3 exporter designed for Max2/3. I'm assuming this same exported was included in the Tempest pack for Gmax from Autodesk. This, and the MD3 exporter from the Tempest pack, does not work properly in Gmax, and Autodesk never fixed… -

Sounds nice... on paper. I'm skeptical though. Autodesk has rarely seemed concerned about those "in the middle." If you're a big studio then they got your back. You're their bread and butter. There is also the ase export script and Chai's pipelineIO custom FBX exporter. Out of the box with Modo 501 your best bet is the Autodesk FBX 2006.11 file format, haven't tested the collision meshes with it yet though. The regular "Autodesk FBX" file format from Modo is fairly broken in UDK. Collada works pretty good…
