So you're getting a visible seam between two meshes that are identical (like a tiled wall mesh) and snapped together? Sounds like a lightmap issue - try increasing the lightmap resolution and rebuilding the map. No reply, seems like I am just asking random questions. Anyways, I have tried changing the parameters in the BaseLightmass.ini and when I rebuild the lighting. I do not notice any difference or does this have anything to to with the post process,or exposure settings. I hardly see any color bounces -

Assuming this animal is a dog or similar quadruped mammal, the structure of the front shoulders/legs is waaay off (see link below). You might want to rebuild that part. Also, as fearian noted above, there's no reason I can think of to model the legs sticking out like that.… -

ideally you would have planned this ahead and constructed your basemeshes with the lowpoly in mind, cutting down the time you need to rebuild it now. so if you didnt do it, i fear you will have to do it the classic way, retopo on top of what you have and yeah it will take some time. -

cholden: no, not really, this is a record in delays, isnt it? :P I understand everyone's point of view, but it IS kinda annoying, I was counting on a delay, but not three. I'm a busy busy bee, now I have to start another project to keep me busy while I try to rebuild my hype and motivation :P -

I think manually retopo'ing the CAD model will destroy the efficiency of the workflow. You'd be creating a cad model, a model around that so you can have a turbosmoothed model, then a low poly to bake onto. You may as well skip the CAD part since you would be rebuilding your highpoly anyways. -

broken vertex shading array or so, had the same recently. I solved it by exporting to FBX and importing it back (OBJ apparently preserved that error). Made me once already to write a script that rebuilds a mesh and creates clean arrays under the hood, because the same shit happens sometimes with UV verts as well. -

Right, so I've had a look at the UVs, made sure that none of them are overlapping, but the lighting is still spazzing out, it does seem to change if I build lighting for selected assets and then rebuild lighting for the whole level. It's really confusing, but with time and patience I should be able to sort bout all the…
