Yea that should turn out great, you're off to a great start! Be careful not to over do it on the scratched visual noise, sometimes crap-ifying everything can bite you in the ass and make a mess. I think you're close to making a mess. Leaving some areas slightly less untouched could really help sell the rusty broken bits… -

Looks like Max your using. Keep in mind i think max will push the cage verts out differently after the first push, and not in their proper averaged normal directions like the first push. However that could have just been a bug i got while using Max 2014, no one ever confirmed it happening on their end. -

done powered minecarts that push you around and switches to change rail direction etc. but upwards pushing is a bit tricky. i only tried to be pushed by one engine cart, so im not sure if two work better or differently. using them to drive empty carts works great, just when youre in them... not always. here are my… -

seems you didn't push the cage out in max, ie the cage was reset, you need to push it out until it covers all the high poly bits. look in the menu where it says push and amount. odd though, even without adjusting the cage at all, ie resetting it, I still don't have the problem that you had. the majority of my bake is blue? -

Ok, found a workaround: Duplicate mesh low poly mesh > export it. apply push deform to duplicated mesh> export it as cage. This is is not %100 non destructive, but the LP is duplicated so you'll still have the LP that hasn't had the push modifier. Any changes to the LP means it would have be be duplicated and exported… -

Gosh, I really hope this is true! All the other platforms that have been recommended as activity on polycount decreased (reddit, facebook groups, discord, etc...) don't appeal to me at all. More forums that don't algorithmically push outrage-bait engagement would be better for many reasons. Maybe there is even some desire… -
