Yay! It finally works!!! I setup the file with the proper codec settings in max's render options first and then rendered it out with my new code and it works! I may be wrong on this but my understanding was if you plan on filing for unemployment getting laid off normally allows you to collect on this while you may be out of work. If you're fired however you usually cannot. -

I think the part where they've been firing nearly all their non-development staff in the US and hiring labour in Asia at ridiculously low cost to keep their profit margins up might have something to do with it. -
