It is quite brilliant. I thought I was in some sort of wonderful Zdream when I first saw it. It runs as a floater 'kind of' within ZB. Still in beta, but some great features and a bright future/fast update dev process. Free to try with a few limitations.
out of all the amazing games I'm excited that are coming out.. Mass Effect 3, Skyrim, Uncharted 3, Witcher 2, Yakuza of the End, Dead Island, Deus Ex... Not one of those games can match my excitement for Dark Souls. SO STOKED!
Their post has an edit saying this; https://www.unrealengine.com/blog/epic-launches-unreal-dev-grants I gotta say, that's pretty sweet and generous of EPIC. But I think they need to elaborate on what they mean with ""working prototype" stage", else everyone is gonna send in their game.
It's not really an exception : look up diagrams showing the earth distance to the sun, and you'll see how the rays can been considered as parallel. Think of it more like an approximation than an exception. [edit]This one should do the trick : http://joshworth.com/dev/pixelspace/pixelspace_solarsystem.html
in the main screen I spawned a teleporter and it warped me to the 5th cell offices so I decided to try placing a nuke with a time bomb next to it. Unfortunately one of the devs must be overly curious and he activated the nuke before I could get away.

Trying to get in some work for an update each week, still slowly progressing through look dev. Thinking a more primal feel would fit the contest theme better. Still missing a key piece of the story which is Tang suanzang's head gear. Cheers!
