Calling this one done. I had so much funn and freedom with this one! Postpro and FX done in Photoshop. Next time I will be using Keyshot or Maya for rendering. I just wanted to give Zbrush a full go :) Hope you enjoy and greets!
It's lots of really fine lines. You could probably paint something. Or model it in 3d if you wanted to. using a paint based tool to scatter objects over a spline might work too. If you're using maya you could use paint FX
Composite map in Max 9 doesn't do Multiply blend mode (try this instead), plus you can't get any Standard material to display 2 UVs at a time in the viewport. Only with a FX material can Max display 2 UVs at once.
hate getting that blue star thing at the entrance, taking life for falling is no fun =( looking pretty good, the frame rate was pretty bad for what it was drawing. some love to the sound fx/music would do wonders for your game demo. thanks for sharing!
Vfs is the best crash course on modeling and character animation I say (currently halfway in the 1 year 3d animation program), too bad it's expesnsive -.- and you only get a dimploma in 3D modeling. Then again, it's the only crash course I've taken :P
Nice bug, I find your speed paintings very inspiring. I've just started to get into speed painting and matte painting I recommend taking a look at some of Hatch FX works, they've done a lot of paintings for big films and games.
Hey sef, seems you have picked up a lot of skills apart from character modeling, and I see a lot of openings for FX and UI artists...maybe try applying for those? Fewer people interested in those roles. Best of luck man.

Hi, some "generators" (substance fx) in SP need a world space nm. I bake my stuff in xnormal, so can you also use an object space nm, instead of world space, cause both maps are similar? p.s: will there be a 16 bit tiff export format? thx
