See image: Unity 5 These are individual instanced pieces. So the pillar for example that is one mesh stacked on top of a another mesh. And the roof panels....same thing, about 6 of those side by side to make up the roof. Instanced/cloned/duplicated...whatever you want to call it. All the meshes are pre-fabs and have…

So i'm currently working towards getting myself a massive desktop for doing 3D and gaming. Now i don't know which is the best period for buying PC's so that is why i'm asking here and the question should i wait for windows 10 also comes to mind. I'm also looking to get the best around. I'm looking to go all the way to 1500…
I'm working on some low poly mobile art. I've been getting into rigging and animating more and more. Making more complex ik/fk rigs with realy handles is going well too
haha yes, it is an awesome piece from Victor! yupp, modelling her in a neutral pose, then seeing if I can either rig or someone else rig her in a nice pose that will do her justice @jacopoS
Well, by the time you have a fully fleshed out rig you will probably have a universal controller for the character in question which will end up moving everything with it. Groups aren't really necessary for rigged models.
Unfortunately I didn't finish this in time for the contest, the rigging was a bit more time consuming than I anticipated :/ Still, got the rigging and lods done and threw in some base colors. Textures and presentation tomorrow.
if you are looking to use Motionbuilder, your character rig needs to be in the T-pose for the characterization process. You don't have to re-rig, just roatate them up when you start to setup HIK.

Neat! I have a semi-automated process for setting up morphs and a face rig to drive them for our game in XSI. I'd like to try and convert this over to a bone rig too using this technique.
