My only comment is that the arm with the shield looks a little IK. The whole concept looks great!

i'd second using an IK spline in this case, much easier if you intend to export to a realtime engine using a joint system

The IK bones stuff in flash is total garbage. Hopefully this works better. Being able to pin parts of the image seems useful.

Did you use IK for the arms/legs? And if you did, did you bake the animation to the bones before you exported?
