I'm no hardsurface wiz but your edge flow looks kinda bad. I suppose if it bakes down fine then it shouldn't be a problem but it's good practice to have clean geo regardless. -

Edges are too tight for a good bake. It looks like you only have a 'diffuse,' no specular or gloss for your hardsurface model? -

I think if I do hardsurface retopo I go Nex in Maya, if I have to retopo organic topogun/3dcoat
