Приветствую вас друзья. Я буду писать о своей проделанной работе в этой теме. Буду использовать русский язык, потому что он для меня родной и с помощью него, я смогу точнее выразить свои идеи и мысли! Greetings friends. I'll write about my work done in this topic. ________________________________________ На первом этапе…
Hi all First time poster, My Name is Damien Doulman and Like a few others who have posted here, we're modelling a character for our current assignment. For this we were given a 12k to 15k maximum limit. As mentioned in the title I have decided to model the goddess of digital storage. After looking through a few ideas…
Hi there, I think the noise is not really a noise issue, but more of how you added the green moss. Its just overlayed ontop of the rock noise, so thers dubble the noise in the green areas, you should give more love to that part, right now it doesnt really look like grass/moss but more like just green stone. the normals and…
edit: no no no.. not right edit2: ok new guess.. the lp is catching the edge of the hp. this would cause the green border. padding wont make it go away. Together with the shader bleeding these green pixel into the blade would cause such an edge. Just as test.. what happens if you paint away this green/blue edge and what…
sheess it is all green, my only advice in such a situation would be to model after references that are more interesting in the future, 'exists' and 'looks good' are different things :) You can get away with rather clean materials in games if the color tones are pleasing, i'd almost suggest sampling the green from the photo…
Ruz: I'm fairly sure (just looked a some things i normal mapped with rotated uvs, and noticed this in the past) that no matter the orientation of the uvs: "up" in the green channel faces towards the top of the image, "down" faces the bottom; and the same with the red channel for left and right. This is because normal maps…
@ ImSlightlyBored - Love what you have going on so far. Red and green lighting is awesome when done well, but its very hard to get right imo. The problem I always have when trying to use red and green is that the colors dont blend too well if you have overlapping edges of your spot cones... It usually ends up looking…
Converting an OSNM from 3DSMAX to Tangent in XNormal gives strange results. I tried inverting Green Channel and even Red Channel. I Swapped Green for Blue, Red for Blue, Green for Red, but nothing works. Can anyone bake an OSNM in 3dsmax and convert it successfully to Tangent space in XNormal? I really want to use 3dsmax…
The one printed on the green backing is NOT the OG birth certificate as they claim it is. Ive read that they scanned the original (which was on a blue /whitish background)as a black and white image. Which was then printed onto the green patterned paper what we see here. Then Re-Scanned and uploaded as a PDF. The printing…
There's 2 different standards for how normal map channels should work, the only difference between the two is the greeen channel being inverted (images are made up of 3 RGB channels (red green and blue)). 3ds Max and Unreal Engine often need the green channel inverted if the normal map is coming from another application.…
