Here's an enviroment piece i've modelled for a game to show off some features. Have I modelled it how i should for a game piece? How should I go about unwrapping/texturing? cheers for any advice.
Hey all, Had the day off so decided to see how much i can get done on a fun enviroment. It is to xbox/ps2 specs, The reflection is hacked the old way (mirrored vertically with a alphaed plane between) so with reflection its 9806 polys and without its 4996. Not much else to say:
Speed enviroment that i have been working on in my spare time. The modeling part is almost done, not really sure if i want to put it in UE4 or just render in modo. Any critique is welcome.
hi guys, this is my first post here, and i wanted to show the new enviroment i just completed, my diablo 3 room! critiques and compliments are greatly appreciated :) josh
Hi :) I am a new 3D artist and i want to learn about sci fi enviroment modelling and texturing. please paste all the important threads or posts that i should never miss on Polycount. Thanks :)
UPDATE: Just getting started, but thought I'd see if anyone had some pointers. Same texture on all the planks, just moved the uvs around for each on the texture I painted. Each plank is a four sided box, if you are wondering.
I am working on a series of props and I'd like to get some crits. I am trying to build up a enviroment focused portfollio. Modeling the high poly meshes in silo then normal mapping in max and crazy bump, textures done in PS CS2.
